Since more than 10 years, the company Luca Maffucci works together with the main leaders of the horticulture sector like Scotts (fertilizer) and Kekkila (soils). The company has always used the best basic material to grow up plants of an excellent quality.

The extraordinary collaboration with these suppliers was born by the philosophy to cultivate an excellent product, to create a trade mark for these plants and to inform the customer about this standard. Package - and marketing -innovations are used to complete a quality line: from the selection of the best basic material, the cultivation conditions to the delivery.

Carmine Santoro, our purchaser, explains about the selection of the suppliers.

We are working together with Scotts and Kekkila, the leaders of the fertilizing - and soil sector because we get every year new inputs and resolutions for our production.

A few years ago we started with good results by using Exact, a fertilizer often used in France and Germany. An other advantage of using quality fertilizer is the shelf life.

Looking forward on using peat soils our partnership with Kekkila was growing a lot during the last years. Besides the normal production line Kekkila was able to develop a special line for our necessities. So we are able to cultivate easier and produce a higher quality.  

Kekkila takes part of the Vapo group, one of the main producers of peaty soils, who digs peat in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic states. The knowledge allows Kekkila to control al production steps: the digging of the peat, laboratory controls, preparing of soils at the factories in Finland and the Baltic states.
